Aizawl East District PYD, Environment Protection Committee organized a garbage cleaning campaign on May 28, 2026 (Sunday) at Chite Lui (Bethlehem Vengthlang Kâi).

Evan Dr. R. Vanlalpeka, District PYD Vice President flagged off the Chite River cleaning works. Pi R. Lalawmpuii, Deputy Mayor AMC delivered a speech. Environmental Activist Pi Vanramchhuangi and ASEP President Evan.K. Lalmuansanga was also present.

Aizawl East District PYD Environment Protection Committee members are actively involved in environmental protection, education on disposable plastics, water and forest conservation.
